Aftermath the visit of the All Progressive Congress APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the Ondo state residence of former Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the acting leader of the group, Pa Ayo Adebanjo has described the visit as a means of scoring political goal.
Pa Adebanjo stated this while featuring on Channels Television programme “Politics Today”.
Pa Adebanjo disclosed that he had earlier warned Pa Fasoranti not to accept the visit by Tinubu claiming that he knows, it’s just a Political gathering to score cheap political goal.
He said, now is the time for the South East to also have their share of Nigeria Presidency hence the support by Afenifere.
The Elder stateman who came hard on some of those that attended the Sunday meeting expressed displeasure to the step taken by his predecessor, Pa Fasoranti, claiming he’s no longer the leader of Afenifere.
