Naira, Fuel Scarcity: Protesters Hits Ondo Street, Despite Police Warning

Tuesday February 7th, 2023

A large crowd majorly residents of Ondo State on Tuesday morning in Ore stage a peaceful protest along Ore-Benin expressway to register their displeasure to scarcity of naira notes and fuel scarcity ravaging the nation.

The protest which caused gridlock made travellers plying the route stranded.

One of the protesters who spoke with The Hope, Prince Adebayo Adeyemi said the recent hardship ravaging the country is quite alarming.

“We are protesting to send a message to the government, that we the masses are suffering.
