
Oyo PDP Chieftain, Oladoja Congratulates New PDP Executives, Makinde, Arapaja, Others Over Peaceful National Elective Congress
Oyo state chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP), Mogaji Olawale Oladoja has congratulated the newly elected National Chairman of the party, Saminu Turaki and other executives in the recently concluded National elective comgresss.
Oladoja, while commenting on the exercise, described it as a successful and peaceful congress, which is a significant milestone for the PDP across the country.
Oladoja commended Oyo governor, Makinde’s leadership and dedication to ensuring a free, fair, and credible congress.
“Governor Makinde’s commitment to democratic principles and party unity has been crucial in achieving this,” Oladoja said, adding that the impressive turnout of party members underscored the people’s continued confidence in the governor.
He expressed optimism that PDP would continue to prosper under the new leadership and pledged his unwavering support toward deepening democracy within the party and the country.
“This congress, widely regarded as peaceful and where all candidates emerged largely through consensus, demonstrates the strong bond among leaders and members of the party across the country.
“The impressive turnout of party supporters in their thousands indicates that the Nigerians are still with the party and will remain firmly behind it and will again support it in 2027,” the statement read.
Oladoja also commended the immediate past national executives led by Ambassador Damagun for their “focused and purposeful leadership.”
He expressed belief that the newly elected national executives led by Turaki would work harmoniously with other leaders to advance the party’s goals and deliver good governance to the people of Nigeria.
Oladoja described the expulsion of FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, former Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, and others as long overdue.
He called for strict adherence to the party rules and regulations as a deterrent to indiscipline act by any recalcitrant members in the future.
