Oyo Govt Pays Compesation To Iwo Road Bus Terminal Property Owners

Oyo state government has commenced payment for property owners whose properties were affected by the construction of Iwo Road bus terminal.

The state Commissioner for public works, Professor Daud Sangodoyin supervised the exercise held at the ministry.

The Commissioner in charge of the ministry, Prof Daud Sangodoyin said only those with no litigations in court of law are being paid while others in court will be attended to after court processes.

He added that Governor Makinde has already paid fifty million to church owner whose church was affected while over seven hundred million naira was also spent on the construction of modern mosque also affected by the construction.

He added that three hundred and twenty five million naira is to be shared to 227 property owners affected.
