Osun 2026: APC ‘II Win 2026 Guber Election, Oyetola Reassures Osun Residents
The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, CON, on Saturday noted that the Nigeria’s ruling party – All Progressives Congress, APC, was resolute to return to government in Osun come 2026.
He said by the grace of God APC would win the governorship election slated for August 8th, 2026.
Oyetola reiterated that the party would continue to flourish and provide the quality leadership as being exemplified by the current administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He extolled President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s socioeconomic reforms across sectors urging citizens to continue to support the current administration in the quest to take Nigeria to greater heights.
This is even as Aragbiji of Iragbiji Oba Abdul-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi expressed profound gratitude to the sons and daughters of the town, particularly the Marine and Blue Economy Minister, Adegboyega Oyetola for their unflinching support and philanthropic gestures towards advancing the cause of the ancient town.
Addressing the indigenes of the town, Oyetola appreciated the donors for their genuine efforts and passionate contributions to the advancement of the town
He used the occasion to advise parents and guardians to invest hugely in their children and wards by giving them quality education capable of refining and redefining their future for greatness.
The former Osun State Governor also urged the youths to take their future in their hands, admonishing them to abstain from social vices such as hard-drugs capable of jeopardizing their future
“Let’s take our future into our hands. God has created us well and the way to live and sustain our existence is by what we choose, hence the need for us to live a worthy life. To our parents and guardians, let’s prioritize the education of our children and wards and ensure that they get the deserving training. Education is the only sustainable legacy to unlock the world for greatness. It goes beyond knowing someone: it is about what you have and what you can offer or bring to the table. I want our young ones to face their studies and see education as panacea to attainment of greatness. Our youths should also restrain from things capable of jeopardizing their future. Hard drug is forbidden and it should be taken as such. Let’s be responsible to ourselves and to our family and the society. This is the way to to go and path to greatness.

To the sons and daughters of Iragbiji, our town is our heritage: let’s continue to be good ambassadors of this great town. I pray God to continue to be with us all. I appreciate our friends and political associates across the globe, that are here, for their love and support. As we move into the election period, we are resolute to return Osun to progressive fold. By the grace of God, we will return to government next year”, Oyetola reassured.
The revered monarch, Aragbiji of Iragbiji Oba Abdul-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi expressed profound gratitude to President Tinubu for stimulating the nation’s economy in line with his renewed hope agenda.
The traditional ruler also lauded the Minister for his steadfastness and unflinching support towards the growth and development of the town.
He enjoined sons and daughters of the ancient town to continue to be good ambassadors which the town is known for saying ‘our strength lies in our bond of unity, peace, harmony and unending stability.”
