Pastor in charge, Bodija -Ashi Baptist Church, Ibadan, Rev’d Patrick Rotimi has called on Nigerians to ensure they live in Newness of God in the new year

Revd Rotimi warned Nigerians to stop living a double life in order to enhance the growth of tge nation

The Cleric who stated this in an interview with journalists at the church cathedral in Ibadan said insincerity and unrighteousness had debarred the growth of Nigeria, noting that the citizens and government are wotking at cross purposes

Rev’d Rotimi explained that Nigeria as a country would have developed but the citizens had slowed down the pace through their unstable act and corruption.

I don’t think any religious preaches corruption, many of us are church goers , some go to the mosque but go and look at them in their various offices and their duties you won’t see what the Holy book,.

The followership in Nigeria have a lot of problems. The citizens much cooperate with government to be law abiding and help the nation to grow.”

He enjoins Nigerians to desist from being a sabotage to government initiatives and programmes
