Ibarapa North Local Government Chairmanship Aspirant, Siji Ganiyu Congratulates Oyo Assembly Speaker, Others

Following the inauguration of the 10th Oyo State House of Assembly by the state Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, a Chairmanship Aspirant in Ibarapa North local government, Sanitarian Siji Ganiyu has congratulated re-elected Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Adebo Ogundoyin on his re-election as Speaker.

Governor Makinde had on Wednesday proclaimed the inauguration of the assembly followed by Election of the principal officers in the house.

In a release through his media office, and made available to newsmen, Sanitarian Ganiyu described Ogundoyin as “a legislator passionately committed to the enhancement of democracy and to the development of Oyo State.

He said Ogundoyin’s re-election to lead the assembly once again was an acknowledgement of his excellent performance and an affirmation of the confidence reposed in him by his colleagues.

Sanitarian Siji Ganiyu who is an immediate past Provost, Oyo State College of Health Science And Technology, Eleyele, Ibadan and well poised for the office of the Executive Chairman, Ibarapa North Local Government come 2024 said leadership of the 9th assembly under Adebo Ogundoyin contributed to and greatly enhanced the good governance and prevailing peace in the state.

He said the assembly also passed key legislations that extended the frontiers of development of Oyo State.

While congratulating also another member from ibarapa zone, Hon PG Ojedokun representing Ibarapa North/Central, Sanitarian Siji Ganiyu expressed readiness to work with the legislators in bringing the much expected dividends of democracy to the area and the state at large.

He congratulated other elected principal officers of the assembly, Ganiyu urged the new and returning legislators to always place Oyo state as their priority agenda.

Ogundoyin representing Ibarapa East was unanimously re-elected by the legislators following a motion moved by Hon Bamidele Adeola.
