God Raises You To Unite Christians In Oyo State, Bishop Aremu Counsels Christian Journalists

God Raises You To Unite Christians In Oyo State, Bishop Aremu Counsels Christian Journalists

Members of the Nigeria Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ) Oyo State chapter have been admonished to ensure that Christians community in the state are United.

The General Overseer, Christ The Light Ministry (Inc), Ibadan, Bishop Solomon Aremu gave this admonition while playing host to members of the state Exco of NACJ.

He explained that God has assigned specific responsibility to everyone irrespective of status or social standing hence the need for people to work for the growth of the gospel.

Bishop Aremu who was a former Vice Chairman, Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Oyo State expressed his delight to leadership of the association and charged them to be true ambassadors of Christ.

He added that Christianity is no longer as of that of old where righteousness and holiness remains the Hallmark of Christians but now full of deceit and false by many who now preaches the gospel to suit their own taste.

“Let me urge you members of NACJ in Oyo State to rise up and defend our faith as well make sure you unite Christianity in Oyo State. Now, we have different categories of Christians, but for you as Christian journalists, you must uphold the truth and ensure the Gospel of Christ.”

Bishop Aremu who was glad to receive the delegation led by it’s Chairman, Lekan Shobowale assured of his readiness to support the Association.

Earlier, the Chairman, NACJ, Oyo State stated that the association was established to contribute to the spread of the gospel through the tools of mass media.

Shobowale added that members of the group will not relent in it’s effort of putting up measures to unite Christians irrespective of their denominations.

Other Excos on the entourage of the Chairman included, the Secretary, Ikeoye Oyetoro, Treasurer, Mosun Akinola, Director of Finance, Wale Aboderin, Publicity Secretary, Adeola Badru and Director of social and welfare, Temidayo Aboderin.
