Book Aid International CEO Scores OYSCHST High Over Good Use Of Donated Books­

The Chief Executive Officer, Book Aid International, Alison Tweed has passed a vote of confidence on Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology, Eleyele, Ibadan for making good use of books donated recently assuring of more donations.

The commendation was contained in a statement issued in Ibadan by the College Public Relations Officer, Mr Sola Samuel Ojewole on behalf of the College Management.

Alison Tweed, who paid an official courtesy visit to the Acting Provost, Pharmacist Mrs Oluyemisi Oyewo was accompanied by the former Librarian Registration Council of Nigeria, Dr (Mrs) Victoria Okojie and the Chairman, Western States Distribution Committee of Book Aid International, Mrs Sekinat Akanbi.

The CEO particularly commended the Governing Council headed by Dr Aaron Ola Ogundiwin and the Management under the purview of Pharmacist Yemisi Oyewo for doing their best in upgrading the academic standard of the College through a well structured Library, with required facilities.

Welcoming the guests to the College in her office in company of the Principal officers of the College including the Acting Registrar, Mrs Oladupe Ayoola, the Director of Works, Engineer Ayokunmi Ojerinde, the College Librarian, Mr Kayode Akinsoji, the Bursar, Mrs Adeola Olanase and a Governing Council member, Mrs Omolara Fatunmbi the Acting Provost, Mrs Oluyemisi Oyewo commended Book Aid International for its kind gesture over the books donated to the College Library recently and sought for more science and health related books donations.

She informed the visiting international figure that the College is offering nineteen health and medically related courses for which the College will be expecting more book donations.

The Chief Executive Officer, Book Aid International, Mrs Tweed was later conducted round the College Library by the College Librarian, Mr Kayode Akinsoji where students were met reading their books.
