30-yr-Old Widow Struggles To Survive After Husband’s Tragic Death From Kidney, Liver Ailments in Ibadan

…begs Nigerians for help

A 30-year-old widow and mother of two, Omotola Adesoun, is facing a daily struggle to provide for her children after the tragic loss of her husband, Olajire Alade, to kidney and liver ailments in Ibadan, Oyo State.

In the wake of this unimaginable tragedy, Omotola pleads with Nigerians for help to support her family as she fights to rebuild their lives.

Married for eight years to her late husband, Omotola said during Olajire’s illness, the family had exhausted all their resources, selling their belongings and property in a desperate attempt to cover mounting medical bills, but their efforts proved fruitless, leaving her and two children (8-year-old and 3-year-old) with nothing to fall back on after Olajire’s passing.

Sharing her heartbreaking story, Omotola, now the sole provider for her family, revealed that she has turned to tailoring in an effort to provide for her young children.

Despite her resilience and determination, she continues to face an uphill battle in making ends meet, prompting her to make a heartfelt plea to the public for financial support during this challenging period.

She said: “I never imagined that I would be in this position. My husband was the love of my life, and now I am left to raise our children without him.”

“I don’t know how I am going to make ends meet; the cost of living is already so high, and now I have to pay for all our expenses on my own. I just pray that God gives me the strength to carry on.”

“We sold everything we had to pay for my husband’s medical bills, but in the end, it was not enough to save him,” the widow narrated.

Those wishing to offer financial assistance to Omotola and her children can do so by sending contributions to her GTB account, number: 0253581496, while her telephone number is 07041738758.
