An Ibadan based Elderstateman and property merchant, Alhaji Sufianu Kazeem, popularly known as Sukazeem on Tueday, described activist turned politician Omoyele Sowore as a man witn no shame and pride.
Sukazeem stated this in a statement issued and made available to journalists in Ibadan while reacting to a series of hate speech and bullying of Nigerian government by Sowore.
Kazeem explained that there is no nation around the world that any of its citizens would be so unreasonable to the extent of insulting and embarrassing his number one leader irrespective of the circumstances or frustration.
He said Nigeria’s presidency remains the overall symbol of the its so ridiculous by anyone claiming to be a Nigerian to so shamelessly insulted the symbol of his or her country.
According to a one-time close associate of winner of June 12, 1993 Presidential election, Bashorun Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, Kazeem, “Sowore has proved to be mentally unstable and needs to be properly examined by those concerned. Or how one claimed to have loved a country that he has over a period of time has been insulting and maligning the headship of such a country.
“Sowore who claimed to be an international man in recent years have been unreasonably passing unthinkable insults on Nigeria President to the extent of calling President Tinubu a criminal in one of his recent tweets
“I’m of the opinion that this is highly unreasonable, unacceptable, and should be condemned by all reasonable and well-meaning Nigerians irrespective of status, religious or political affiliation
He added that one man can never be greater and more reasonable than over eight million Nigerians who trooped out to cast their votes and put their trust in President Tinubu over two years ago.
“One would had expected Sowore to had gotten over his electoral frustration and anger at this time and start preparing for another election less than two years from now.
“But instead of that, he has been moving from one social media to other castigaring and abusing the President and his officials. I wonder what type of image the man is making for himself and those people close or working with him.
“Sowore has so much damaged the name that people now see anyone that bears that name,”Sowore said as synonym to violence, hatred, and bitterness.”
The property merchant likened the attitudes of Sowore to that of former Nigeria Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, who also has, over the years, insulted, blackmailed and told many lies against the President and his government.
Sukazeem expressed surprise to the character of the two perpetual contestants in Nigeria who have by their attitudes and comments are not worthy of a single votes in Nigeria.
Sukazeem commended the Nigerian government for taking proactive measures to address the excessiveness of Sowore by taking legal action against him and the platforms that he had been using in degrading the nation.
