We ‘Il Delivered Rivers to Tinubu — Wike declares

Former Rivers State governor and current FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has made a bold political statement that is already stirring reactions across Nigeria.

Speaking in Port Harcourt, Wike said he personally led the political battle that secured Rivers State for President Bola Tinubu during the 2023 presidential election.

According to him, many politicians who failed to win meaningful support for their own candidates in 2023 are now trying to take credit for Tinubu’s popularity in Rivers.

We fought and delivered Rivers. People who couldn’t get even 10% for their candidate are now claiming they will lead Tinubu’s campaign. That can not happen, “Wike said.
