Stop Disinformation & Misinformation of Nigeria Youths Over Your Unnecessary Love For Power and issues of AGE- Adeduntan To Makinde

Following the recent outburst of Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, at a convocation ceremony in Ibadan, Ibadan born cardio vascular surgeon and former gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince(Dr) Azeez Popoola Adeduntan has cautioned Governor Makinde to stop feeding Nigeria youths with insinuations and innuendos on the issues of age and governance.

Adeduntan, in a release on Monday, made available to journalists in Ibadan the Oyo State capital said, Makinde needs to be educated that age especially IN YEAR 2024 has nothing to do with governance anywhere in the world due to improvements in the qualities of life.

Adeduntan, who is also the Osi Bashorun of Ibadanland, expressed disappointment over the comments credited to Makinde today to students of PRECIOUS CORNERSTONE UNIVERSITY.

The governor in his address during his address to the graduates of the above university in Ibadan, berated former presidential candidate of his party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar over his 2027 presidential ambition.

Adeduntan stated that Makinde, who has been known to be power intoxicated, needs to leave Atiku and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu out of his inordinate presidential ambition and concentrate on a graceful exit from GOVERNANCE of OYO STATE in several months time.

According to the Harvard trained board certified international cardiovascular surgeon, “Makinde needs to stop parroting analogue ideas and misleading our youths on the analogue ideas
of age and ability.

“In case Governor Makinde missed my analysis on one of his unverified claims on age months ago, I hereby refer him to the open letter published on APRIL 28th 2024 on the subject matter incorporated and reproduced here below
as if set verbatim.

Chronological age (age when you were born)is not as important as the physiological age(function of your internal organs-heart lungs, kidneys liver and brain .)

“For instance, in the recently held United States of America presidential election, Trump is 78yrs old,Biden 81years.Biden did not step aside because of the chronological age of 81, he stepped aside because of the physiological decline of cognition.

“Nancy Pelosi is still serving in the House of Reps at 83 years.

“He should stop misleading
Our youth and the public,” Adeduntan concluded.
