POF Launches Intiative For Community Development

..inaugurates egbeda local government executive

An Ibadan based non governmental Organization, Peter Olaoluwa Foundation (POF) has hit the philanthropy landscape with an effort aimed at promoting community development and other aspects of giving back to society across Oyo state.

Speaking shortly before the inauguration of the caretaker committee for the Egbeda local government chapter of the foundation, the founder, Mr Peter Olaoluwa popularly called PAO by his supporters stated that the Foundation, is a philanthropic initiative established to address critical societal needs and create a lasting impact.

Olaoluwa who spoke through the secretary of the foundation, Rev Joseph Ademola Dopamu the foundation is fully registered with the Federal Government through the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and its operating across Oyo state as well as in the United States of America.

Dopamu commended Mr Peter Olaoluwa for his heart of gold and concerns for the less privileged calling on executives and member in Egbeda to bring more people into the fold.

Dopamu said the initiative goes beyond local government and spread the gospel of the foundation to every nooks and cranies of the state.

He describes the foundation as a celebration of hope and progress, explaining that its launch is a momentous occasion as it celebrates his unwavering commitment to philanthropy, the potential within Oyo state communities, and the power of collective action.

“As the foundation embarks on its mission, one thing remains certain which is that its impact will be long-lasting, inspiring countless hearts and minds to embrace the spirit of paying it forward for years to come. With the support of the community, this foundation has the potential to illuminate the path towards a brighter future for all residents of Oyo state.

In their separate addresses, the new Chairman for POF, Egbeda local government, Elder Dele Yusuf and Leader, Com Subair Kehinde promises that they will not relent in ensuring that POF meets its set objectives.

Members of the new executives were: Com Subair Kehinde, Group Leader, Elder Dele Yusuf Chairman, Mrs.Lizzy Omokanye, Social Director, Alhaji Ismail Olayinka Azeez, Gen.Secretary, Mr Bolaji Fujah, PRO, Alhaja Yidiat Giwa Aare, Women Leader, Elder Musbau Olapade, Treasurer, Dr. Soliu Akinwale, Ex.Officio Member, Mr. Elujoba Ex.Officio Member.
