Olufemi Pedro, former deputy governor of Lagos, has assumed office as Nigeria’s ambassador to Australia and three sovereign Pacific nations, including New Zealand.
In a statement on Tuesday, Pedro said he formally submitted his letters of credence on June 23 to Sam Mostyn, governor-general of the Commonwealth of Australia.
