Oyo Police Command Debunks Viral Video

The Oyo State Police Command has cleared air on a viral video making the rounds about a video as which he described as mischievous and an attempt to needlessly heat up the Polity as the State navigates towards the Gubernatorial and House of Assembly Elections.
In a statement issued on Friday through the command Public Relation Officer, Ademola Osifeso, the command says the video is an old one incidented Mid 2022 during the Build-up to the various Party Primaries.
He said the case was not only professionally handled at the time but was specifically done in consonance with all legal requirements and processes.
“The Oyo State Police Command further enjoins the good Citizens of the State to disregard the video emanating at this period as it was obviously designed to create panic and stir up confusion by its authors among residents.
The Command remains committed to ensuring a peace and secure Oyo State with the safety of lives and property being premium.”
