Oyo Former CAN Chairman, Akanmu Expresses Appreciation To Governor Makinde, Former Minister, Wole Oyelese, CAC Worldwide, DE-DAMAK, Others

Former Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Oyo State, and Pastor Benjamin Akanmu have
expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, for his support during the funeral activities of his late mother, Mama Abigail Ajoke Elefunde Ojoose Akanmu

In a ‘Thank you’ message by the prominent Christian leader and made available to newsmen in Ibadan, he appreciated the love shown by Governor Makinde before, during after the event.

Akanmu also expressed gratitude to former Minister, Elder Wole Oyelese, the leadership of the Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas under the leadership of Pastor Samuel Oladele, and principal officers of the church, the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta state, Alhaji Daud Makanjuola.

According to the statement, Pastor Akanmu said, “Let me appreciated men of God present or sent representatives especially the leadership of CAN, Oyo state through its chairman, Rtd Col. Joshua Akinyemiju, laity and clergies alike.

“Also the Head of Service, Mrs Olubunmi Oni, commissioner for education, science and technology, Hon Segun Olayiwola, Chairman, Pilgrims welfare board, christian wing, Bishop Ademola Moradeyo, Chairman, Egbeda local government, Hon Sikiru Sanda, Prophet Moses Olagunju, of CAC Agbara Olorun ni gbani.

Others are Chairman, Oyo State Civil Service Commission, Alhaji Kamorudeen Aderibigbe General Manager, Ibadan local government property limited, Mr Dele Morawo among many dignitaries.

The letter reads: “Nothing is more difficult than saying goodbye to a loved one especially someone so important as mother and I may never be able to find the right words to fully express my deepest appreciation for the kindness, Love and support shown me and my family before, during, and after the burial of my dear mum. I really appreciate the affection.

“ You all are like the clothes covering my body. I will forever cherish your love and support at this time.

“To everyone, I say I appreciate you pray that Omo rere a gbeyin gbogbo waa ooo.”
