The Osi Bashorun of Ibadanland and world revered consultant cardiovascular surgeon, Chief Dr. Azeez Popoola Adeduntan on Tuesday hosted the Oyo South APC Senatorial Chairman, Hon Mojeed Olaoya.
The meeting which was held at the Alakia, Ibadan office of the international surgeon.
In a release issued shortly after the closed-door meeting, Olaoya disclosed that he came to discuss and perfect plans for Wednesday’s defection of Adeduntan who is also from the Senatorial district.
He described the return of Adeduntan to APC as a good thing and a morale booster for the entire members of APC in Oyo State.
Olaoya added that APC remains a party to beat come 2027 as it’s ready to take over the government of Oyo State after the tenure of Governor Seyi Makinde.
Earlier, Chief Dr.Adeduntan said the meeting was a familiar affair as Olaoya aside from being his Senatorial Chairman is also his brother from Oja’ba.
Adeduntan assured that his coming back to the party will further strengthen it and give it an increased voice as an opposition party in Oyo State.
He concluded by saying that APC is ready and united to take over Agodi Government Office and House in 2027 by the grace of God.
