A stalwart of the All Progressive Congress in Oyo State, Peter Abidemi Olaoluwa popularly called PAO by his supporters has congratulated Oyo State Workers on May Day celebrations.

The trained Chartered Accountant turned politician urged them to remain steadfast, calm and resolute as they serve their State and fatherland.

In a statement issued by his media office in Ibadan on Wednesday, Olaoluwa said

Olaoluwa explained that even though, it is painful with the bad state of economic development which has also led to the deteriorated state of workers welfare, across the nation due to decades of neglect of the past but Nigeria workers must continue to be optimistic for better tomorrow.

He charged all workers to remain resolute, continue to be hardworking and keep to the provisions of the Civil Service rules.

He called on States and Federal Government to focus on policies that will promote the growth of the labour-force, by taking steps to safeguard socio-economic rights and ensure adequate welfare of workers.

Olaoluwa assured workers in Oyo State of a better tomorrow and promised to continue to encourage them in his own little way.
