Obafemi Owode Education Chairman, Secretary, Seek Collaboration To Improve Basic Education In The Area

Obafemi-Owode Local Government Education Authority Secretary; Hon. Olaseni Adeoye and Board Chairman, Elder Isreal Olusegun Idowu in Ogun State have solicited partnership of Non-Teaching staff in the education sector to cooperate with them in the quest to improve teaching and learning at the basic education level in the Local Government Area.

Hon. Adeoye made this known on Thursday at the meeting held in Abeokuta.

He enjoined members of staff to design collaborative ways to ensure utmost efficiency in the engaged services.

Earlier in his address, the Board Chairman, Elder Idowu positioned that, although, with the other members, their statutory duties are to quarterly observe the quality of education given and the usage of it on the pupils; encouraged all to work and in hand to achieve the expected aims, while imploring the workers therein to join hands with them to revamp the basic educational system in the Area.

On the side of the workers present at the occasion, Mrs. Martins rolled out difficulties confronting the teaching environment in the LGEA as well as need to increase numbers of teachers.
