Nigeria @ 64: Adeduntan
Enjoins Nigerians To Keep Hope Alive, Wait Only On Almighty God

A Chieftain of the Oyo State chapter, All Progressives Congress, APC, and the Osi Bashorun of Ibadanland Prince(DR) AZEEZ, a prince of OYO ;of ALAFIN OGBOLU AKAJE ONISILE lineage, has congratulated Nigerians for witnessing the 64th independence anniversary of NIGERIA.

Adeduntan in a release from his media office commemorating the independence of Nigeria from United Kingdom said despite the hunger, poverty ,insecurity,
banditry, kidnapping and many more in Nigeria, there is still need for people to continue to keep hope alive.

Adeduntan, an international cardiovascular surgeon, enjoins all Nigerians to note that all hard times shall end regardless of how long.

While it is being clever by half by opposition GOVERNORS to put poverty, hunger, insecurity and premature deaths on the federal government alone, it is a systemic national failure including the federal government, the state and local governments and the citizenry.

“This is without prejudice to the consequential effects of subsidy removal and flotation of the naira on the high cost of living evidenced by run away inflation and pump prices of petroleum products that have almost crippled NIgeria economically.

“Prayers alone cannot do it but NATIONAL REBIRTH and reorientation.

“Here are some posers for all NIGERIANS?

“What is the ministry of agriculture in all NIgeria state GOVERNMENTS doing, same with local GOVERNMENTS in terms of farming for the population?

“Why can’t sub National GOVERNMENT bulk purchase food items and sell at controlled prices.?
at this time and on adhoc basis to assist the multidimensionally poor NIGERIANS as NAIRA has lost its purchasing power ?

“Why are some citizens hoarding petroleum products and reselling at high prices and inflicting pain on fellow Nigerians.?

“Why can’t the federal GOVT have dedicated filling stations other than NNPCL outlets where PMS can be sold at controlled prices for the disadvantaged ?

“Why are some citizens and subnational GOVERNMENTS rebagging bags of rice with their own party logos
In order to mislead and get credits.

In light of the above, Osi Bashorun Adeduntan submits that the only segment of NIgeria that needs to be congratulated at this time is only the citizens of NIGERIA who have borne this hardship with pain and equanimity.

“May GOD almighty lengthen the cord of life of every Nigerian citizen, redouble your strength ,and bring this unmitigated hardship to an end for both the rich and the multidimensionally poor Nigerians, Adeduntan prayed.

“This prayer can only be answered by the omnipresent and omnipotent GOD,however;if all NIgerians, the national and subnational government and the citizenry work in unison and not at cross-purposes.

“I share the pains of all Nigerians at this time in words ,deeds and silent Actions without noise making.I recommend same to other Nigerians to be our brothers keepers.

Nigerians of every stratum are In PALPABLE PAIN and hunger.

“MAY NIGERIA SUCCEED.”
