Moniya Land Dispute: Olubadan Restores Oladoja Mogaji Title

Following the recent land dispute by some residents of Moniya and subsequent suspension of Mogaji Olawale Oladoja of Akinsola’s compound by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun, Ali Okunmade 11, the Olubadan in Council on Monday forgives and restored the Mogaji title of Olawale Oladoja.

This was almost two weeks after the suspension by the Olubadan.

Speaking with journalists after the announcement, Mogaji Olawale Oladoja appreciated the Olubadan and entire Olubadan of Ibadanland for the love and understanding shown through out the crisis.

He pledged his loyalty to the Olubadan, the Olubadan in Council and the entire people of Ibadanland.

Oladoja stated that he holds Ibadan traditional institution in high esteem and will never do anything to tarnish the image of the institution.

He however added that even though the judgement of the court subsist, but the family will find a means around it and settles it amicably.
