It seems the crises between the Oyo State Government and the embattled sacked council officials may soon be a thing of the past.
The minister of Power, Oloye Adelabu on Monday pleaded on behalf of the sacked council chairmen when he paid a working visit to the Governor’s office.
Among members of the entourage of the minister was Prince Ayodeji Abass Aleshinloye, former Oluyole Local Government Chairman who also doubles as the leader of the former council chairmen.
A source who was also at the closed door meeting help between Governor Seyi Makinde and Adebayo Adelabu said the Governor promised to release the fund soon.
Earlier, the governor has threw banter immediately he sighted Aleshinloye at the Governor’s office, “I can see Aleshinloye in this office, he did not follow the Minister on the working visit but he only came here to remind me of their money “.
Governor Makinde later exchange pleasantries with Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye after the meeting.
