Ibadan Explosion: Oyo Government House Chaplancy Commiserate Victims
The leadership of the Oyo State Government House Chapel has condole with families that lost their loved ones during the Tuesday night explosion in Ibadan.
In a release made available to Journalists on Thursday morning, the Chaplancy led by Pastor Layi Adisa described the incident as shocking and sad.
He commended the proactive steps taken by Governor Seyi Makinde led administration which included but not limited to an emergency centre for the affected as well as provision of accommodation for them.
The release described the step as people oriented and act of responsive governance as being demonstrated by Governor Makinde since inception of his administration.
“We pray that the comfort of God will rest upon the affected families and we ask that God gives the injured quick recoveries.
“May this ugly occurrence never happen again in Jesus name. The peace of God shall rule in Oyo state by all means.”
