Ibadan-Born Cadio Vascular Surgeon Mourns As Prominent Ibadan Chief Dies

The Osi Basorun of Ibadanland, Chief (Dr) Azeez Popoola Adeduntan has expressed sadness over the death of Senior Chief Lateef Oyelade.

In a statement issued through his media office in Ibadan on Saturday morning, Adeduntan described the passing away of the Ibadan senior chief as shocking and unexpected.

Oyelade a prominent senior chief and Islamic leader in Ibadan died on Friday.

Adeduntan stated that he received the news of the passing away of Senior Chief Lateef Oyelade with shock.

“Oyelade was a consummate and highly revered royalty who played an active role at a every Ibadan affairs and meetings.

“His death is a great loss to Ibadanland, because he was an ardent supporter of every good cause of the land.

He was always offering useful advice; all of which to those close to him across the state and beyond.”

Adeduntan prayed God to grant the deceased Aljanah fridaous and keep all he has left behind.
