Former Oyo Majority Leader, Subair Remembers Late Governor Ajimobi

Former Majority leader, Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Kehinde Subair has described former Oyo state Governor, Late Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi as a worthy leader who gave his best while alive.

Subair stated this in a release on Tuesday in remembrance of the former governor who transited four years ago.

Subair who was the Majority leader of the Oyo State House of Assembly during reign of late Governor Ajimobi recalled with nostalgia the working relationship between the then Executive under the watch of late Ajimobi and the then lawmakers.

He stated that it was the amiable relationship that have birth to what many preferred to refer as Modern Oyo State.

Subair added that the late Governor believed in the separation of power as well as rule of law which made the entire eight years reign rancour free even till today and made him one of the best Governor Oyo State has ever had.

The late Ajimobi died at the age of 70 years and at the time of his death, he was the deputy national chairman (South) of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The lawmaker described late Ajimobi as father of Modern Oyo state who is worthy to be honoured at all times.

Subair said that though he is gone, he is however not forgotten.
