  • Former Oyo HOS Reunites Adeduntan, Tegbe, Akintola

It was a happy reunion last Saturday as three leading 2023 governorship aspirants, Chief (Dr) Azeez Popoola Adeduntan, Mogaji Joseph Tegbe and Chief Niyi Akintola (SAN) reunited at an event in Ibadan.

The event was the 6oth birthday and retirement service of Chief (Mrs) Hannah Olawunmi Ogunesan held at Prof Emeritus Ogunlesi Hall, UCH, Ibadan.

It was Mogaji Tegbe and Chief Akintola that was first at the party before Chief (Dr) Adeduntan joined them.

The trio on sighting one another exchanged pleasantries to the admiration of guests at the event, recalling their old time slangs, “You know me, I know you.”

It would be recalled that after the trio lost the governorship ticket to the 2023 APC governorship candidate, Teslim Folarin, they all joined the PDP in the state to work together for the re-election of Governor Seyi Makinde.

Mogaji Tegbe contested the Oyo South Senatorial district where he lost to Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli.
