Fiditi Born Philanthropist, Olaoluwa Commends House Of Reps Over Establishment Of University At Fiditi

The founder, Peter Olaoluwa Foundation (POF) Mr Peter Abidemi Olaoluwa popularly called PAO has thrown his full weight behind the planned establishment of the proposed Federal University of Agriculture, Fiditi, Oyo.

Olaoluwa stated this through his media office on Friday while reacting to the bill which passed second reading on Thursday.

The House of Representatives on Thursday read a “bill for an act for the establishment of the Federal University of Agriculture, Fiditi, Oyo” for the second time.

While commenting on the development, Olaoluwa, an indigene of Fiditi in Afijio local government explained that Fiditi as one of the leading community in Afijio local government is accommodating and lovable community, ready to welcome such great development in the area.

He appealed to members of the House of Representative under the leadership of Rt Hon. Tajudeen Abass to give the bill a speedy passage and approval assuring that the entire people of the community will also be part of the development of the University.

PAO commended the sponsor of the bill, Hon Akeem Adeyemi for representing the people of the area so well since his election into the Green Chamber.

The Chartered Accountant turned Politician said this will further enhance the timely development and growth of Fiditi and the entire Afijio local government.

The bill was on Thursday passed to the House Committee on Agric Colleges and institutions for further legislative matters.
