Alao congratulates Governor Makinde @56
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Engineer Oyedele Hakeem Alao (aka Allow Alao), has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde, on his 56th birthday.
Alao in a congratulatory statement he personally signed, while describing the celebrant as a leader at a difficult time, said the birthday coming at this time is a reminder of the immense privilege and duty that fate confers on the governor.
According to him, the birthday is an opportunity for Governor Makinde to reflect on how God has been kind to him to serve the people of Oyo State, stating that he has a duty to continue to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.
He then prayed for more years for Governor Makinde in good health and sound mind to serve humanity, urging the people of the state to continue to support his administration as we do not have any other state to call our own.
Alao said, “I join the admirers of Governor Seyi Makinde, within and outside our dear pace setter state, to congratulate him on his birthday which falls on Christmas day. Indeed, it is a good thing to count our days and give glory to our maker.
“However beyond the merriment and clinging of glasses, I believe the birthday would provide an opportunity for the governor to reflect on the responsibilities placed before him to continue to make life better for the people of the state as he cannot afford to fail them.
“I pray that Almighty God would give our dear governor long life in good health and sound mind and strengthen him the more to live lasting legacies in the state.”
