We All Voted For Seyi Makinde In 2019 – Shittu

The former minister of communication, Adebayo Shittu has disclosed that he alongside some members of the Oyo state chapter of the All Progressive Congress voted for Governor Seyi Makinde in 2019.

Shittu made this disclosure in an interview while reacting to the last Saturday local government election in Oyo state.

The former minister said the decision to that made him and others in APC then to vote Makinde was due to the rift that trailed the emergence of then APC governorship candidate, Adebayo Adelabu who they all believed was forced on the party by late former Governor Abiola Ajimobi.

He described APC as one united party now and will take over the reign of Oyo state government come 2027.

Shittu described the election as one of the worse that will go down in history of the state.
