Tinubu: Joint Team Inspect Eagle Square Ahead Of Presidential Inauguration

Ahead of the swearing-in ceremony of the 16th President of the federal Republic Of Nigeria, a joint team of inspectors from the Transition committee, Diaspora Group and Security Forces have paid a scheduled visit to the Eagle Square, venue of the ceremony, today.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was declared winner of the Presidential Elections conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on February 25th and he’s constitutionally guaranteed to be inaugurated on 29th Of May.
The team comprising representatives from the Nigerian Armed Forces; Department of States Services; representatives from the Nigerian Police Force; representatives from the Presidential Villa and other members of the intelligence community were at the venue for site inspection and to appraise the level of work done by their respective officers on ground since preparations began.
Also at the venue were the Director of Venues, Parades of the 13-Man Presidential transition committee, Mr Makinde Araoye; the face of Diaspora and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Ade Omole; The Asiwaju Group’s National Coordinator, Hon Oyinkansola Okewoye; members of the accommodation sub committee of the transition team; representatives of the government and Press men.
Speaking to newsmen, Prince Omole assured Nigerians living in the diaspora of a comfortable accommodation on arrival into the country for the program. He equally assured that the mandate of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is secured and has God’s backing. He enjoined Nigerians to remain hopeful of better days ahead because the swearing-in of Asiwaju will herald great development and progress that has never been witnessed in the history of Nigeria.
Serious rehabilitation of the venue was ongoing by men of Julius Berger construct firm as at the time of filing this report and they promised to finish up at the agreed time.
In the meantime, mass majority of Nigerians remain upbeat that Asiwaju will keep to his promises of a more secured, prosperous and United Nigeria.
