Regularise Appointment Of BCOS Contract, Freelance Staf, Union Workers Appeals To Makinde
..advocates for Increase in Subvention

As Workers in Oyo State joined their counterparts to Celebrate this year workers day,the Radio and Television Theatre and Art Workers Union (RATTAWU) and Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) BCOS have urged Governor Seyi Makinde to regularise both Contract and Freelance staff of the corporation

The Unions in their jointly Press release issued in Ibadan and made available to mediareportsng appreciated the Governor for giving priority to welfare of workers and Pensioners in the state

According to the release,the regularization of the Contract and Freelance staff and increase in the Subvention given to the corporation will go a long way to solve series challenges confronting the station.

They also lauded Governor Seyi Makinde for the regular promotional exercise and prompt payment of allowances as a strategic motivation towards ensuring effective service delivery.

While thanking workers of the corporation for their dedication and commitment to duty,the both unions urged their members to continue to pray for the success of Governor Seyi Makinde led administration in its quest to bring much needed development to the state.

Rattawu and NUJ BCOS also pledged their continuous support for the management of the corporation led by Mrs Dotun Olaitan to tackle some problems facing the corporation.
