Ramadan: Osi Basorun of Ibadanland Felicitates Muslims

The Osi Basorun of Ibadanland, Prince Dr. Azeez Popoola Adeduntan had congratulated Nigerian Muslims for witnessing the commencement of this year’s Ramadan fast and urged them to pray to Almighty Allah to make positive interventions in the affairs of the country.
In a statement made available through his media office in Ibadan, the international cardio vascular surgeon stated that between the last Ramadan and now, a series of events had happened that shook the world, including economic crisis which had thrown many nations of the world into recession ,including our dear country NIgeria.
“We have many reasons to be grateful to almighty Allah, particularly for preserving us till this moment. We are happy that except in a few instances, things are gradually taking shapes in the country.
“Alhaji ADEDUNTAN congratulated President -ALhaji Ahmed TINUBU ,my brother Governor of OYO state OLUSEYI Makinde for the great support he has given to OYO STATE MUSLIMS;the 42nd OLUBADAN OF IBADAN LAND-Alhaji Mahood BALOGUN,the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Alhaji Abdul GANIYU Abubakr AGbotomokekere,the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta states Alhaji DAUD MAKANJUOLA ,the entire Muslim Ummah in Oyo state.Oyo state Muslims,NIgeria Muslims and other adherents of othe faiths without exception for being alive at this time.
Alhaji Azeez ADEDUNTAN added that it is important that Muslims dedicate more time to pray for our dear country and Oyo State and help the needy in this holy month.
especially with the multi dimensional poverty in the land occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidies and flotation of foreign currency exchange.
