POJ Condoles With Victims Of Ibadan Explosion

POJ Condoles With Victims Of Ibadan Explosion

..calls for vigilance and prayer

The 2023 gubernatorial candidate on the platform of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Engr Popoola Olukayode Joshua popularly called POJ has expressed shock and sympathised with families that lost loved ones and property during the Tuesday night explosion.

In a statement, through his media office on Thursday in Ibadan, POJ expressed shock at the tragedy which has brought Ibadan, the state capital to it’s kneel.

According to the statement, “I received with sadness the news of the unfortunate incident which caused loss of lives and property which are still counting as at today.”

It explained that any disaster not minding the extent anywhere is a tragedy to all.

He said as those concerns are making efforts to determine the cause of the incident, he is sending his sympathies to the victims, their families, government and people of Oyo State.

He advised the people of the state to always take proactive measure whenever they notice anything that is inimical to their environment.

“I’m taking this moment to pray to God to rest well the souls of the departed and gives quick healing to the injured.”
