POF Team Visits Fiditi Over Proposed Siting Of NOUN
..promises assistance for smooth take off
The leadership of the Peter Olaoluwa Foundation (POF) on Wednesday visits the site of proposed National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Fiditi in Afijio Local Government.
Leading the team was the secretary, POF, Rev Joseph Ademola Dopamu and other members of the management of the foundation.
While delivering the message of the founder, POF, Mr Peter Abidemi Olaoluwa, the secretary, POF, Rev Joseph Ademola Dopamu expressed satisfaction to the level of work so far done on the site which is nearly completion.
Dopamu said the foundation will also be more than ready to join other well meaning individuals and groups in Fiditi to ensure that the University is completed with necessary equipment in no distant time.
He stated that the founder, POF, Mr Peter Abidemi who is also a proud son of the town is putting up measures to ensure that the project is well and effectively done.
The team on arrival at Fiditi paid a visit to the palace of Oba Sakiru Akanni Oyewole Adekola Oyelere, Ajani Eedu ll, Agbadewolu l, The Onifiditi of Fidit iwho later led the team to the University site.
While interacting with the team, Oba Oyelere appreciated the foundation for its good works over the years across the state.
The traditional ruler called on POF whose Chairman is one of the sons of Fiditi to get involved in rebuilding process going on in the town.
He said it is only with rapid development and socio economic growth that Fiditi can be great again, hence the need for all Fiditi Indigenes to rise up and build the town.
He expressed his support and readiness to support the foundation as well as its founder, Mr Peter Abidemi Olaoluwa.
