Peter Obi’s Close Ally, Gov. Otti Dumps Labour Party for APC

In a surprising political move, the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, has officially defected from the Labour Party (LP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Governor Otti announced his defection earlier today, saying his decision was based on a conviction that the APC has a clearer vision and stronger commitment to the development of Nigeria and the South-East region.

“I have seen the direction the APC is heading, and I strongly believe the party means well for Nigeria and for our people, Ndi-Igbo,” Otti stated during a press briefing in Umuahia.

“Politics is about progress, and I’m ready to work with any platform that guarantees the growth and stability of our nation,” he added.
