Ahead of the forthcoming Osun State governorship election on August 8, Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi OFR representing Osun East Senatorial District and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Industries—along with his Osun Central counterpart, Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi Ajagunla, met with the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, HE Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, in Abuja.
The strategic, closed-door meeting, which lasted over two hours, aimed to rescue Osun from what they described as total collapse.
In a statement by his Head of Media and Public Enlightenment, Omole Oluwasegun Omo-Osodi, Senator Fadahunsi tasked all party members to continue mobilizing for the party. He vowed to join hands in rescuing Osun from total collapse, declaring: “Adeleke has seriously failed the state and lacks the capacity to govern Osun beyond 2026.
“We have a capable hand to rebuild the fallen walls of Osun. Only Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji can solve Osun’s problems we cannot afford to miss this opportunity.
“According to him, AMBO is here for the betterment of Osun, and he will make us proud.”
