Osi Basorun Adeduntan Commiserates With Victims of Ibadan Night Tuesday Explosion
The Osi Basorun Of Ibadanland, Prince(Dr) Azeez Popoola Adeduntan has expressed his condolences to the families of the people who lost their lives in Ibadan Tuesday night explosion in Adeyi, Bodija, Ibadan and environs.
NigerianAlert on Tuesday reported the unfortunate incident which allegedly claimed two lives and left many others injured when a mining explosives exploded at night.
Adeduntan in a release through his media office on Wednesday morning described the incident as sad and unfortunate.
Adeduntan said he received the news with sadness of heart and indeed sense of loss especially the loss of precious lives.
He commiserated with his excellency GOVERNOR seyi Makinde, the Olubadan of IBADAN LAND,Oba Lekan BALOGUN,affected families ,but also solicited for “greater compliance with mining best practices going forward.”
“For all the injured, the Cardio Vascular Surgeon stands ready professionally and through his foundation -DAPAF(Dr Azeez Popoola ADEDUNTAN foundation ) to help and assist the injured and displaced and also urged medical personnel to give them the best attention, while wishing, them quick recovery.
“He also prayed that the almighty God will accept the souls of the departed, and comfort their loved ones,” he concluded.
