Ogun APC Enforces Campaign Deadline, Bans Publicity Materials

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State has announced a strict campaign deadline, effective midnight Thursday, November 14th, 2024. According to Tunde Oladunjoye, Ogun APC Publicity Secretary, the party has not approved any advertorials or jingles on behalf of its 20 chairmanship and 236 councillorship candidates beyond this deadline Thursday , 14 of November, 2024.

This means that all campaign materials, including posters, will be prohibited across all platforms, including newspapers, radio, television, online, and social media. The APC is taking a firm stance to ensure compliance with electoral regulations and maintain a clean campaign.

The party’s decision comes ahead of the local government elections, where the APC is seeking to maintain its stronghold. The move demonstrates the APC’s commitment to transparency and accountability in the electoral process.
