Ogbomoso CAN Congratulates Soun-Elect

The Christian Association of Nigeria, Ogbomoso Zone has congratulate the newly elect Soun of Ogbomoso Prince Ghandi Afolabi Laoye on his appointment by the Oyo state Government.
In a congratulatory letter on behalf of the Zonal CAN Ogbomoso, and signed by it’s Chairman, Venerable J.S Adegoke and Dr S.A Olojede, the Zonal secretary and made available to journalists, CAN Felicitates the new monarch.
“We send our warmest and sincerest congratulations to our new Monarch elect, Prince Ghandi Afolabi Laoye, as the new Soun of Ogbomoso. We commend the Oyo State Governor, Engr.Seyi Makinde for acting promptly and appropriately.
With no shred of doubt, Prince Ghandi is well able and well equipped by God to take Ogbomoso to enviable height.”
CAN called on the people of Ogbomoso at home and in diaspora to synergise and support the new Soun to enhance peace, progress and prosperity in the land.
It appeal to those who may not be pleased with the person or process of the exercise to see reasons to support the God-sent servant in the overall interest of Ogbomoso.
“While we commend the dynamic government of Oyo State for doing the needful, we equally call on the Governor and other Stakeholders to expedite action on the Coronation and issuance of Staff of Office to the new Monarch.
We owe our king all the support and encouragement that will put his vision for the city on the wheel, hence, all hands must be on deck.
To the new Soun, our candid counsel is that his administration be all- inclusive with no bias or discrimination against any religion or tribe. We urge Kabiyesi to be magnanimous in victory as the father of all.
