Former President Obasanjo, Not Qualified To Condemn Tinubu’s Government – Egba Born Businessman, Sukazeem
..Nigerians will take legal action against Atiku, Obi if they continue to insult Tinubu
An elderstateman and businessman, Alhaji Sufianu Kazeem, popularly called Sukazeem on Thursday, stated that his kinsman and ormer President Olusegun Obasanjo has no credential to outrightly the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu or any government whatsoever.
Alhaji Kazeem stated this in a statement in the United States of America where he is currently on vacation.
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo had over the few months been criticising the present administration under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In on of his comments, Obasanjo said Nigeria was a failing state under Tinubu. He also accused political elites of manipulating national policies, laws, and resources for personal gain.
While reacting to numerous comments of Obasanjo, Alhaji Kazeem said the former president is a leader with no shame and integrity considering his many past sins that will be so difficult to forget by Nigerians
Sukazeem said Obasanjo is a leader with an unquantifiable ability for selfishness and mischief, and everyone, including his friends, knows it.
He said the former Nigeria leader finds it easy to be descent into muddling facts, forgetting that he ran a presidency on record as one of the most corrupt leaders even beyond the rhetorics of late General Sani Abacha
He said it is laughable that Obasanjo’s pretentiousness about fighting corruption is not cutting any ice in the eyes of the general public. We all know what happened under his watch and how, up till the present moment, there has been no explanation as to how he wasted a whopping $16bn in generating megawatts of darkness across the nation But that is not even the issue.
Kazeem said the so-called democracy Obasanjo claimed his championing across the world with pretence suffered seriously under his watch.
“Nigerians will not forget in hurry how Obasanjo deployed every available resource to secured a third term ticket, thanks to the people of good conscience.
“Successive administrations struggled to clean up the mess Obasanjo left behind, which President Tinubu is now making progress with.
“Obasanjo under his watch, allegedly removed former governor Rashidi Ladoja, former governor Ayo Fayose, former governor Chris Ngige was kidnapped by the serving Assistant Inspector General of Police and many more.
” Obasanjo has lost any moral right to condemn any government. He should apologise to Nigerians for not laying the foundational infrastructure Nigeria needed to advance.“
“Obasanjo is so selfish that he believes in himself and himself alone and that nothing good can come out of any one, what a leader?
“Every succesive president by Obasanjo was also pulled down by him, for no serious reason than self glorification.Obasanjo should take time off this habit of pulling down leaders, especially his successors and try to interrogate himself on how he has contributed to the parlous state of the Nigerian nation which President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is now spiritedly battling to put back on the track of development.”
Sukazeem urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to revisit past activities of governments before him so as to bring those who might have erred to justice not for revenge but for posterity.
“Obasanjo has said it many times that no Nigeria refineries can work, but today, two of Nigeria refineries are producing and functional. What a shame to the former President.
He added that it’s important for Nigerians to take a cue from developed nations like China, who never encourage or take lightly any corruption related cases, and many times, such is meant with stiff penalties.
Alhaji Sufianu Kazeem then advised opposition leaders in the country which included Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Mr Peter Obi, Mallam Nazir El-Rufai, Hon Rotimi Ameachi and many of their bootlickers to desist from insulting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu because as at now, he’s the National symbol for the country.
He further said no Nigeria should not insult the nation’s president Bola Ahmed Tinubu or anyone who God has chosen as the president for the country. He added that it’s not about Tinubu as the current president but about the integrity and the image of the nation.
He added that if the insult continues and the federal government can not take appropriate legal action, Nigerians including himself may be forced to take such action against anyone that insults the Nigeria President.
