Edo 2024: Osunbor Receives Roual Blessings Of Oba Of Benin, Eware II

The leading aspirant in the Edo State Governorship election set for September 24, Professor Osereihmen Osunbor, has received the royal blessings of His Royal Majesty, the Oba of Benin, Ewuare II.
The professor of law, who is seeking a ticket on the platform of the APC, was at the palace of the revered Benin monarch earlier this week, accompanied by prominent members of the party and representatives of the Onojie of Ekpoma, His Royal Highness Anthony Abumere II, to formally notify him of his aspiration to contest the governorship seat.
His Royal Majesty noted that Osunbor was not a stranger to the palace, having sought and obtained the blessings of his late father, Oba Erediauwa before serving as the state’s number one citizen for 18 months.
He wished Osunbor a harmless and successful campaign, urging him to remember to fulfil his promise to the Edo people when elected.
With the APC primary fast approaching, this cheering development has further buttressed the fact that the exercise will be a walk in the park for Osunbor, who stands out among other aspirants.
