Democracy Day: Founder, Celica Church of Christ, Adeonigbagbe Advises Nigerians To Embrace Peace

Democracy Day: Founder, Celica Church of Christ, Adeonigbagbe Advises Nigerians To Embrace Peace

The Founder, Celica Church of Christ, World Wide, Anoited Prophet Emmanuel Adetunji Adeonigbagbe, has counselled Nigerians on the need to embrace peace and unity.

Adeonigbagbe stated this in a release felicitating Nigerians on the occasion of the second year of Preaident Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The cleric explained that even though democracy day is now being celebrated on June 12, it is still important to acknowledged and appreciate God for that day, a day the military leaders handed the affairsof the nation to the civilian leaders.
, the cleric described June 12 as a significant day in the country’s history.

Adeogbagbe said May 29, 1999, marked a turning point in Nigeria’s history which is a testament to the power of democracy and the human spirit.

He further stressed that the nation has come a long way since then, and we made significant progress towards democratic governance.

He urged Nigerians not to forget the sacrifices and commitment of those who fought for freedom, peace and survival of the country which heralded the return of the country to democracy.

He called on Nigerians to continue to work for peace, unity and progress towards a brighter future, where every Nigerian can live in peace and prosperity.

Celica Founder, Adeonigbagbe, appealed to leaders not to govern as bosses or orthocrat but as a true leader and use this occasion to reflect on the nation’s history and the role everyone can play in shaping its future.

“Let us pray for our nation and its leaders, that God may guide and direct us towards His purpose, may God bless Nigeria, and may God bless us all, amen.”

He, however, urged Nigerians to love themselves and join hands with Tinubu’s administration in taking the nation to greater heights, adding that the nation will not move forward without love.
