  • 2027 House Of Reps Hopeful, Ademola Agoro Installed As Patron, Osun NYCN ..calls for meaningful empowerment The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Osun State, on Saturday installed the Managing Director, Protogy Global, Engr Ademola Isaac Agoro as Patron. This was at the 2025 International Youth Day celebration in Osogbo with the theme “Youth Advancing Multilateral Cooperation through Technology and Partnership.” In his keynote, Engr. Agoro explained that youth empowerment must be seen as a strategic investment in Osun’s future. He called for the establishment of technology and innovation hubs, a Youth Development Fund, and stronger youth–industry partnerships. Engr. Agoro expressed deep gratitude for the honor and pledged to further champion youth causes in the state: “This investiture is not just a personal recognition; it is a call to greater service. I dedicate this honor to the vibrant young people of Osun State, whose resilience and creativity continue to inspire us all. “As Patron of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Osun State Chapter, I will work closely with government, industry, and development partners to open more doors of opportunity for our youth. Together, we will ensure that the dreams of Osun youth translate into tangible achievements that uplift our state and our nation.” In his goodwill message, Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan, Commissioner for Youth Affairs, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to youth-focused policies, praising their resilience and innovation. Oba (Dr.) Michael Odunayo Àjàyí, the Elerinmo of Erinmo-Ijesha, urged young people to blend innovation with discipline, while upholding cultural values as the bedrock of sustainable progress. Captains of industry at the event pledged stronger support for youth-led ventures through mentorship, funding, and partnerships. The celebration concluded with optimism and renewed commitment, as stakeholders affirmed that Osun youth are not just beneficiaries of development but active leaders and partners in building a prosperous future for the state and Nigeria at large. The high-profile event was graced by His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Michael Odunayo Àjàyí (Arowotawaya II), the Elerinmo of Erinmo-Ijesha Kingdom, the Honourable Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Osun State, Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan, other distinguished royal fathers, top government officials, and captains of industry.

Alesinloye, Olayemi, Aseyin, Adegoke, Others Celebrates Kisi Born Engineer At Conferment of Award of Excellence on Kishi-born Engineer, Femi Alao­

Former ALGON Chairman in Oyo state, Prince Ayodeji Abass Alesinloye led prominent political actors and stakeholders across Oyo State and beyond to the Aweni event centre, Ibadan, when a renowned Engr, Femi Alao was conferred with an award by Ibadan Soco-cultural Organisation, Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes'(CCII).

In his remark, President General, CCII who is also the Atunluse of Ibadanland, Chief Sulaiman Ajeniyi Ajewola the award Engineer Femi was to appreciate his good work on Ibadanland.

He highlighted qualities of the awardee that were considered necessary for the award of excellence.

Alhaj Abiola Alli, Chairman, 2025 Ibadan Cultural Festival, said the award ceremony was part of the event heralding this year festival.

In his comment, Prince Ayodeji Abass Aleshinloye described the award as humility personified despite his status and affluence.

He added that Engr Femi Alao is a bridge builder who is always ready to assist anyone at all times.

Also,Oloye Taofeek Adegboyega,, Hon. Gbenga Olayemi Ariba and others commended the awardee whose good name, impeccable character, sincerity, generosity, integrity and other good values orchestrated award of excellence that was bestowed on him.

The event also had in attendance members of the executive of CCII, led by its President General, Alhaj Oloye Sulaiman Ajeniyi Ajewola, Assistant General Secretary, Mogaji Kunle Sodeinde, Social Secretary, Madam Afolashade Muhibat Olayiwola, Chiefwhip, Alhaj Mobolaji Olowookere and host of others.

Also, the Aseyin of Iseyin, HRM Oba Sefiu Olawale Oyebola Ajirotutu 1, Oba Alayeluwa, the Oloje of Oje-Owode, Olori Khaidijat Oloje, His Royal Highness, the Onimia of Imia, and the Bobajiro of Kishi land.

In his appreciation, the awardee extended his heartfelt gratitude to all members of the CCII for considering him worthy for presentation of the prestigious award, promising that he won’t hesitate to identify and contribute more for its progress.

He thanked his wife for her conviction, determination and courage to stand behind him for attainment of the latest feat, noting that she remains a dependable better half who takes care of home womanly when she is not around.

Femi Alao thanked all admirers, friends, well-wishers, politicians, the royal fathers, Kishi & Oke-Ogun people and others who thronged the venue to felicitate him.
