
Olaoluwa Mourns Passing of Sarkin Sasa at 125
The President, Peter Olaoluwa Foundation (POF), Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi popularly called OPA has expressed sadness on the passing of Alhaji Haruna Maiyasin Katsina, the Sarkin Sasa and chairman of the Council of Arewa Traditional Rulers in the 17 Southern States of Nigeria.
The revered traditional leader passed away on Saturday evening at the age of 125.
In a release on Monday through his media office, he stated that his death signalled the glorious end of a fine and descent traditional ruler.
Olaoluwa commiserate with the family of the deceased traditional ruler, families and entire Hausa/Fulani community in Oyo State and Southern Nigeria.
“On behalf of my immediate family, board of POF and the entire OPA political movement across the state, I condole the Hausa/Fulani community over the passing of Alhaji Haruna Maiyasin Katsina, the Sarkin Sasa Sardaunan Yamma,”
“I extolled his great commitment to Nigeria, Southwest and Oyo State in particular where he lived for so many years of his life.”
Olaoluwa, a Governorship hopeful in Oyo State come 2027 added that the late monarch served his people with dedication and honesty.
