OPA Condoles Families of Victims In Ojoo-Iwo Road Accident

OPA Condoles Families of Victims In Ojoo-Iwo Road Accident

The President, Peter Olaoluwa Foundation, (POF), Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi has sympathise with the families of those that lost their lives in the multiple accident that occurred at the Agbowo axis of the Ojoo-Iwo road section of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

In a release by his media office in Ibadan, and made available to journalists on Wednesday.

Olaoluwa extended his deepest sympathy to the families of the deceased and prayed for the quick recovery of those injured.

The accident, which claimed 16 lives and left 17 others with varying degrees of injury, has been attributed to a brake failure.

The Oyo state Governorship hopeful stated that the unfortunate and so sad incident, too tragic and needs to be addressed urgently to forestall future occurrences.

OPA emphasised the need for motorists to at all times pay attention to the safety of other road users and adhere to traffic regulations to avert such tragedies.

He urged relevant stakeholders to intensify their efforts in road safety awareness campaigns and urged the Federal Government to take immediate steps to address the ongoing construction along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
