Linkway Outreach Africa Visits, Honors Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola in Abeokuta

In the serene ambiance of Abeokuta’s political and historical landscape, Sunday, October 19, 2025, was not just another date on the calendar — it became a day of profound inspiration and national reflection. The Global President of Linkway Outreach Africa, Pastor Dr. Daniel Emma, led an august delegation of the organization’s global, regional, national, and Ogun State Executives to pay a courtesy visit to the former Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, His Excellency Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola OFR, at his country home in Abeokuta.

This visit, rich in symbolism and sincerity, was more than a routine courtesy call; it was a meeting of minds committed to human progress, unity, and social transformation.

For years, Linkway Outreach Africa has stood as a people-centered non-governmental organization (NGO) championing human development through four pivotal sectors — education, water supply, health, and agriculture. Its interventions, cutting across communities in Nigeria and beyond, have transformed thousands of lives and rekindled hope in forgotten corners of society. Thus, its visit to Ambassador Isola — a leader globally admired for his blend of intellectual depth, diplomatic brilliance, and grassroots empathy — was a perfect alignment of vision and virtue.

The Global President, Pastor Dr. Daniel Emma, speaking during the session, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Ambassador Isola for his gracious presence at the organization’s Unity Banquet held a day earlier, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the MITROS Residence Banquet Hall, Ibara Housing Estate, Abeokuta.

He lauded Ambassador Isola’s uncommon humility, steadfast patriotism, and sterling performance during his tenure as Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom — a position he held with enviable excellence. The visit also provided an avenue to seek partnerships in promoting education, health care, and sustainable community development, areas where Ambassador Isola’s quiet philanthropy continues to speak volumes.

In a moment that highlighted the organization’s appreciation for purposeful leadership, Mr. John Paul Agbo, a Regional Stakeholder of Linkway Outreach Africa, took the floor to present an unexpected but deeply symbolic gift — a fully functional personal website for Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola OFR.

The website, Agbo explained, will serve as a digital bridge to connecting the people to the vision, activities, and community impacts of the former High Commissioner. “It is our way of ensuring that your legacy of service remains accessible and inspirational to the world,” he added.

The gesture was received with warmth and gratitude by Ambassador Isola, who described it as “a profound token of love and respect.”

In his response, Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola OFR, a man renowned for his deep intellect and humility, commended Linkway Outreach Africa for its consistency and focus in addressing key human needs. He described the organization as a divine instrument for nation-building and urged its leaders to sustain the spirit of unity, selflessness, and service.

Reflecting on his public service journey — from Minister for Mines and Steel Development to Secretary to the Ogun State Government and later Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom — he emphasized that true leadership is not about position, but about impact.

> “The essence of leadership,” Ambassador Isola noted, “is to add value to humanity, to leave behind footprints that outlive one’s tenure, and to inspire others to rise higher than oneself.”

He expressed enthusiasm about the website donation, describing it as a digital platform for legacy and mentorship, one that would help in shaping leadership conversations and strengthening intergenerational dialogue.

Linkway Outreach Africa’s 2025 Unity Banquet had as its theme, “The Quest for Unity and National Prosperity.” Echoing this theme, Ambassador Isola reminded the gathering that no nation can achieve greatness without unity of purpose and shared vision.

> “Our diversity is not a weakness but a wealth of strength. When leaders and citizens see themselves as partners in progress, prosperity naturally follows,” he remarked.

His message resonated deeply with the audience — a powerful reminder that the path to national greatness begins with personal responsibility, community cooperation, and leadership anchored on fairness and faith.

The visit of Linkway Outreach Africa to Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola OFR was not merely ceremonial; it was a masterclass in servant leadership, intergenerational connection, and patriotic renewal.

In Ambassador Isola, the organization found a mentor and moral compass; in Linkway Outreach Africa, the statesman saw a rising force of youthful leadership and faith-driven service.

Together, their meeting painted a new picture of what Nigeria can become — a nation where leadership is human-centered, unity is cherished, and prosperity is shared.

The visit concluded with heartfelt prayers, a group photograph, and mutual commitment to sustained collaboration in humanitarian and developmental programs. The atmosphere reflected hope — the hope of a Nigeria led by citizens and leaders whose actions are guided by compassion, vision, and integrity.
