Osi Bashorun of Ibadanland Visits Olubadan Designate
..joins Ladoja at traditional council meeting
The Osi Bashorun of Ibadanland, Prince (Dr) Azeez Popoola Adeduntan, on Thursday, paid a royal visit to the Olubadan designate Oba (Sen.) Rashidi Ladoja at his Ondo street, Bodija, Ibadan.
Adeduntan, accompanied by close aides and members of his political camp, arrived in Bodija at some minutes to 1pm and was received into the palace by the media aide of the Oba Ladoja, Mr Adeola Oloko
Adeduntan, in his comments, congratulated the monarch on his nomination and approval and assured him of his cooperation.
The visit according to the world revered cardio vascular surgeon was his mutual respect and shared visions for the future of Ibadanland and many of its prospects.
Adeduntan, who is also a Prince of Oyo kingdom of Alaafin Onisile dynasty, informed journalists who were also at the residence of Olubadan that his visit was also to discuss the continued unity and progress of Ibadanland especially during the reign of Oba Ladoja.
He described the visit as a time of joy because of his long-standing relationship with Oba Ladoja and believes his reign will bring prosperity, development, and peace to Ibadanland, Oyo State and Nigeria.
The Osi Bashorun of Ibadanland later joined the meeting of Ibadan traditional council on the insistence of Oba Ladoja at his residence.
