Ogun ANBROAD Mourns Awujale Of Ijebuland
The day has drawn to a close, and the die is cast; we mourn with deep sorrow the loss of our dear Monarch. The news of the passing of our highly esteemed, longest-serving monarch and patriarch of the Adetona Dynasty, His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Sikiru Kayode Adetona GCON, Ogbagba II, Awujale, and the Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, has come as a profound shock to us. However, we give thanks to God for a life lived in reverence to Him, in service to humanity, and for the benefit of the people of Ijebuland.
His Royal Majesty, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona GCON, was held in high esteem and revered throughout his life. He led a profoundly impactful life, serving both his people and his Creator. His commitment to lofty, humane, and equitable ideals will forever stand as a testament to a life fully lived in accordance with the will of God.
We celebrate the life and legacy of our esteemed monarch, whose contributions to the development of Ijebuland and beyond will be eternally remembered.
His unwavering dedication to the welfare of his people and his steadfast commitment to the traditions and customs of Ijebuland are qualities that will be deeply missed.
As we mourn his passing, we take solace in the memories of his life and the impact he had on the Ijebu community.
We pray that the Almighty will grant us the strength to uphold his legacy and continue his good work.
Death, as we understand, is the inevitable fate of all mortals. As painful as it may be, we encourage the good people of Ijebuland to find comfort in the knowledge that God, in His sovereignty, knows best in the affairs of humanity.
