24 Rivers Lawmakers Sign Impeachment Notice Against Gov Fubara

The crisis rocking the Rivers state Governor and members of the state Assembly has taken another step, as 24 out of the 32 members of the Rivers state House of Assembly signed the impeachment notice against the Governor Sim Fubara.

The House of Assembly complex earlier this morning around 00.00 hours where burnt down by unknown persons on the insinuation that the state Governor was to be impeached today.

The house will transmit the Impeachment Notice to the State Chief Judge who will set up à judicial panel to review allegations leveled against the Governor.
